The short version: your stamp designs are built in your browser and are never uploaded unless you deliberately choose to share them. Everything else on this page is detail.
The stamp generator runs entirely in your browser. When you type text, upload a logo, or download an STL file, that work happens on your own computer using your own processing power. The text you type and the logos you upload are not sent to us, and we cannot see them.
There are exactly three situations where a design leaves your browser, and all three require an action from you:

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people use the tool and whether it works for them. It records:
We also record settings about the stamps people make, so we know which features matter and what to improve. That means the shape, whether you used text or a logo, the font, the size, the printer type, the material, and how many characters and lines your text has.
It does not include the text itself. We record that your stamp had 14 characters on 2 lines. We do not record what those 14 characters say. This distinction is deliberate — plenty of people make return-address stamps, and we have no business holding your home address.
Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on our behalf. You can opt out entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by using your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker. The tool works exactly the same either way — nothing on this site requires analytics to function.
If you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address, your message, and a link to the stamp design you had open at the time. That link encodes your current settings, including the text on your stamp.
We attach it because roughly every support question is "my stamp looks wrong" and the design is the only way to reproduce it. If you'd rather not send it, clear the text on your stamp before sending, or just don't use the form. We use this only to answer you.
If you give us your email, we store the address and use it to send occasional tips, print-setting advice, and news about new features — and to check in and ask how your print turned out. That last one matters: replies are genuinely how we find out what to fix. We don't sell it, we don't use it for anything else, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Ask us and we'll delete it.
If you tick share your design, we receive an image of your stamp preview, a link that reopens the design, and the same settings described above. We ask because we'd like to show what people make.
This is off by default. Nothing is published automatically — every submission is reviewed by a human first, and plenty will simply never be used. If we publish yours it appears as an image of the stamp, with no name and no link back to you unless you've asked for credit. Changed your mind? Tell us and it comes down.
Please don't share a design with your home address, your phone number, or anyone else's logo or trademark on it. Tick the box for the fun stuff.

We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to build a profile of you.
If you're in the EU, the UK, or California, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you're anywhere else, ask anyway — we'll do the same thing.
Realistically, we hold very little that is identifiable: analytics is not tied to your name, and unless you've messaged us or shared a design, there's likely nothing here that's yours. To make a request, email hi@stamp3d.com or use the contact form on the homepage. EU and UK visitors also have the right to complain to their local data protection authority.
This tool isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes to what we collect will be called out on the homepage, not slipped in quietly.
